Today I am going to tell about a simple healthy kwaish/kashayam.

In Tamil(India) the plant is known as “Araikeerai”. In Telugu, it is called ‘yerra Thota Kura’. In Kerala, it is called “Cheera” (ചീര).Cantina Soppu In Kannada and Chauli or Chavleri Sag in Hindi.

In Cambodia, it is known as “Pete” (ផ្ទី) where the leaf is used in cooking and to dip in a sauce base

In natural medicine, it is used along with garlic, ginger, and cumin to cure gastric problems.

Process:

Separate roots from leaves.

Wash roots properly, soak in water for 15 mins.

Pressure cooker the roots in sufficient water for 3 whistles.

Separate/ drain the roots.

Add pepper powder, salt, cumin powder and consume hot or cold as per your wish.,😀
