I have been trying of various healthy drinks.from market…not satisfied.
I was given advice from my Mother in law of an home-made all grains powder which found out to be healthy as well as content to the kids.
Contents:
Broken wheat/Dhalia. : 200 gm
Barley : 200 gm
Mustard seeds: 100 gms
Groundnuts : 200 gms
Kulith : 200 gms
Almond/Badam : 200 gms
Roasted gram :200 gms
Cardamom/elachi: 10 gms
Red rice:100 gms
Roast all the ingredients
Grind to fine powder
Store in a dry place
Add 2 tea spoons in 50 ml of water, stir well, Boil 100 ml of milk, add this and sugar if you want sweetened. Or just add boiled water and salt .
Consuming these every day would be a satisfactory diet and as an replacement too for breakfast- skipped kids.
